In the fall of 2008, DC Prep's third elementary campus will open, serving 3- and 4-year-olds, "growing up" one grade in each subsequent year. Like DC Prep's Edgewood campuses, this program will have three major components: an academic program, a character education program and an enrichment program The PreSchool and PreK grades will incorporate the key ingredients of high-quality early childhood programs - full-day programs, qualified teachers, a balance of child-centered and teacher-directed approaches, and a strong home-school partnership - into DC Prep's proven model, thereby creating a coherent and exciting learning environment for students from their earliest school years.
