The mission of Community Academy Public Charter School is to create a family-centered community learning environment that offers world-class preschool through secondary education. The vision of Community Academy Public Charter School is to raise children to become competent, responsible adults who actively pursue lifelong learning opportunities. Since opening its doors in September 1998, CAPCS has enjoyed strong and steady growth. Its initial enrollment of 289 students has swelled to nearly 1,000 on multiple campuses in grades Pre-school through 8th. Community Academy Public Charter School Butler Bilingual campus opened in September 2004.
