Immediate Opening
ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
General Duties:
Provide administrative support to members of the School Performance Team who are responsible for monitoring the academic and non-academic performance of authorized charter schools.
Specific Duties:
-
General reception activities related to school-specific issues and inquiries
-
Respond to general inquiries related to authorized charter schools
-
Manage and track parent complaints using an electronic database system
-
Collect and manage reports and data on schools
-
Manage filing system and all documentation related to school performance
-
Using the Authorizers’ Oversight Information System (AOIS), develop school
reports based on data collected
-
Assist with School Performance Team’s orientations, meetings and site reviews
-
Prepare orientation materials for school leaders, staff, and consultants
-
Prepare briefing documents for staff and board members
-
Assist with school closings and tracking of student records
-
Establish a database to track student placement and transmission of student records
-
Maintain updated mailing lists of schools, board chairs, and other stakeholders
Required:
-
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) or High School Diploma
-
At least 5 years administrative experience
-
Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
-
Above average written and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent customer service skills
-
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Desired:
-
Familiarity with local public charter schools
-
Proficiency in Spanish
