ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
General Duties:
Provide administrative support to members of the School Performance Team who are responsible for monitoring the academic and non-academic performance of authorized charter schools.
Specific Duties:
  • General reception activities related to school-specific issues and inquiries
  • Respond to general inquiries related to authorized charter schools
  • Manage and track parent complaints using an electronic database system
  • Collect and manage reports and data on schools
  • Manage filing system and all documentation related to school performance
  • Using the Authorizers’ Oversight Information System (AOIS), develop school
    reports based on data collected
  • Assist with School Performance Team’s orientations, meetings and site reviews
  • Prepare orientation materials for school leaders, staff, and consultants
  • Prepare briefing documents for staff and board members
  • Assist with school closings and tracking of student records
  • Establish a database to track student placement and transmission of student records
  • Maintain updated mailing lists of schools, board chairs, and other stakeholders
Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) or High School Diploma
  • At least 5 years administrative experience
  • Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Desired:
  • Familiarity with local public charter schools
  • Proficiency in Spanish
